A while ago, the 1000 Ideas Foundation initiated the 1000 Drawings project to raise money. The organization had to personally contact artists, invite doodlers at parties, attend summits, steal time at exhibitions, involve teachers with their classrooms, and organize a few Doodle for a Difference events throughout the city to collect a thousand drawings. These drawings will be up for sale during the grand 1000 Drawings exhibition and creative party for charity this Thursday at club Trouw.A single drawing costs only €10, regardless of the status of the creator, and with your entrance ticket (also €10) you get a free A5 drawing of your choice. You might find yourself buying a piece of art from either an established artist or a work by new talent from art academies such as Mix Academy, AMFI, AHK and Rietveld.
A purchase supports the Young in Prison foundation project in the Bonnytoun Prison.
