Keith Haring’s signature dancing figures always have had quite an upbeat effect on the world, however many of his drawings involve much more political statements than you would see at first hand. ‘The Political Line’ is a new retrospective Keith Haring exhibition that recently opened at Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris. Around 250 works are on display that specifically showcases a work of Haring that more so address statements against racism, capitalism, violence and injustice. It traces his concerns on Apartheid in South Africa, nuclear war threats, environmental damage, homophobia and lastly the AIDS epidemic that took his life in 1990. The exhibition will be open until 18th of August.
