German photographer Isabelle Wenzel graduated from Amsterdam’s Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2010. In the process of creating her remarkable images she tries to explore bigger meanings and clichés such as the relations between photographers and their models and femininity versus masculinity.

Last month, Wenzel was selected as one of the most promising creative talents for 2011 by FOAM Magazine’s managing editor Caroline von Courten. Although Wenzel didn’t win the Absolut Talent Award 2011, an interview with her was published in BLEND’s New Talent Special, which is available in stores now.
