WDKA Fashion show video projection
Galmoer is the new and dynamic formation by Dennis Neumann and Stijn Koek. Looking for the boundaries of human understanding their goal is to pursue the ultimate audiovisual experience.
For the WDKA-graduates fashion show Galmoer designed a video-projection for the back-wall in the enormous hall. They conceived the concept of ‘seeing and being seen’ — using MAX/MSP — they build big projections of huge eyes following the visitors, accompanied by autonomous video-installations, in order to make the public become a show by themselves.
In collaboration with VIED they designed the fashion show 2011 by WDKA. A combination of video-projections and interactive installations decorated the enormous hall where the runway was located. The ‘Fenixloodsen’ in Rotterdam were transformed into an audiovisual experience to support the theme of the WDKA Graduation Festival: “The Time Is Now”. To accentuate this theme Galmoer made 3D gears that rotate in an endless manner and are shown across the hall in big and small projections together.
