The Restaurant La GIOIA is unmistakably the A-list contemporary trattoria of the French capital.

Discreetly tucked away above the famous club VIP Room, located in the heart of Paris, under the arcades of the Rue de Rivoli, only a stone throw from the Palais Royal and the Louvre, the new flagship conceived by ‘wonder boy’ Jean-Roch, symbolizes the perfect marriage between culinary and festivity.

Jean-Roch brings an unprecedented artistic flavor by entrusting the decoration of  La GIOIA to the designer Gianni Ranaulo.
Checkered ‘onyx’ black bricks on the walls, showcase windows of exceptional wines and carefully selected culinary products, lounge sofas placed in alcoves or around large host tables; the entire décor is articulated around a vast open kitchen with walls paved of sparkling ‘chili’ red ceramics! Italy is unmistakably on the headline.

The ornamental concept of La GIOIA extends far beyond its interior design and encompasses art. The restaurant presents major contemporary art pieces landed by gallery owner and friend, Enrico Navarra and displaying the works by artists such as: Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andre, David LaChapelle, Bono and Fabien Verschaere…to name but a few. Crafty plays of light – fluorescent or subdued – sublime the harmonies of colors and instill  an atmosphere that is decidedly cosmopolitan and utterly elegant. The magnificent glass roof overlooking the «VIP Room Theater»  two floors below is an impressive architectural ‘tour de force’.

The menus, artfully presented on a long, thin luminescent screens that suggest ‘iPad’; brings together the best of an authenticated and refined Italian cuisine with a point made in offering only the freshness and best quality products.The ‘Karl Lagerfeld‘ King Crab salad is a must as well as the sampler of the ‘House’ dessert  with the panacotta and the «regressed» tiramisu  made of Nutella. A squadron of Waiters garbed in white jackets and black bow ties are attentive to your every desire.

Live concerts are taking place Tuesday throughout Saturday while DJs of international stature such as Taboo from ‘The Black Eyed Peas’ , Havanna Brown or Sean Paul enliven the club’s evenings. With this “arty” Restaurant, the VIP Room stands as a major entertainment complex in the city; welcoming prestigious guests such as Jefferson Hack (Another Magazine),… or actors and modern icons by the likes of  Sean Penn, Johnny Depp, Francis Ford Coppola and Madonna .
