Django Django‘s new single “Default” features a hand-painted, stop-motion animation. It was directed by Dan Brereton, who printed out all 4,000 frames shot of the performance. After that he gave drummer, producer and leader David Maclean (who has a background in painting) the task of quickly painting across them, after which they were re-shot. Enjoy!
