Back in the days at the fashion department of the art academy I studied, certain inspirations would be a reoccurring topic among students. With Martin Margiela back then as our God, the master of Trompe-l’œil – the imprint that clothing or accessories leave on the body was a constant departure for a myriad of design methods. Baltimore photographer Scout Paré-Phillips created quite a beautiful series entitled ‘Impressions’ which is exactly that what inspired many young fashion designers.
