Last night, the beautiful bar and room 222 of Lloyd Hotel were the setting for the release party of a new magazine called Extra Extra ‘Nouveau Magazine Erotique’.

The magazine, found by graphic designer Samira Ben Laloua, celebrates the city, erotic encounters, and modern life. Curiosity, tenderness, and exaltation are the key words for Extra Extra. The 144 pages counting first edition has a cover with a 1979 Versace ad portraying supermodel Gia Marie Carangi.

This edition features profound interviews with fashion designer Veronique Branquino, film director Nicolas Provost, and contemporary dance legend Louise Lecavalier. In between, there are short stories by Javier Villa de Villafañe, Huib Haye van der Werf, and Harlan Levey. The magazine also includes a novella from Oscar van den Boogaard. Photo series by Aneta Bartos and Aram Tanis and art by David Haines and Antje Peters complete the magazine.

Extra Extra turned the night of 14th March into a superb evening in Lloyd Hotel thanks to the cosy bar, live performances in room 222 (with a reading by Harlan Levey e.g.) and beer by Warsteiner.
