Take the universal plastic garden chair, uncomfortable in every single way, awfully sticky in summer, pretty much an object no one really has any desire for visually or comfortably – just practical for the obvious reasons. What a sad sad life the garden chair has. German artist Bert Löschner took the opportunity to elevated the garden chair from his miserable life – and turn it into heartbreaking story telling object in his project Monoblock.
