TWICE THE SUGAR AND SPICE: I LOVE FAKE MAGAZINE LAUNCHES ITS FOURTH PRINT ISSUE

On Thursday 11th April, bi-annual style title I Love Fake launched its fourth issue at Guns & Butter Gallery, in the heart of Amsterdam. The Spring/Summer 2013 edition is all about duos and features over twenty fashion editorials with some of the modelling industry’s hottest twosomes – shot by today’s most exciting photographers, including Andrew Kuykendall, Bella Howard, Ben Sullivan, Gavriel Maynard, Marley Kate and I Love Fake’s editor-in-chief Jolijn Snijders. Moreover, the 290-page magazine features exclusive interviews with the likes of Berlin-based artists Marc Bijl and Tim Roeloffs, avant-garde menswear designer Boris Bidjan Saberi and creative mavericks Alis Pelleschi (MEAT) and Rhiannon Jones (BOL$HIE).

Celebrating the spirit of youth

I Love Fake #4 was launched on Thursday evening 11th April during a jam-packed event at Amsterdam hottest new gallery, Guns & Butter. Guests of the Warsteiner-sponsored launch party enjoyed the sounds of DJ duos Shady Dnaf & Jasper van Oord, Doppelgang and Boris & Boris. The Spring/Summer issue, on sale now, is all about duos and features editorials with some of the industry’s hottest models, including Saint Laurent Paris exclusive Rian van Gend and Holland’s freshest faces Annemarie Kuus (16) and Jitte Oerlemans (15), who grace the cover. Photographers include Andrew Kuykendall, Balint Barna, Bella Howard, Ben Sullivan, Cecilie Harris, Dasha Love, Emir Eralp, Gavriel Maynard, Greta Ilieva, Jasper Abels, Jolijn Snijders, Kim Jakobsen To, Marley Kate and Sophie van der Perre. The 290-page magazine, weighing over one kilo, also features exclusive interviews with the likes of fashion photographer Akila Berjaoui, furniture designer, photographer and all-round inspiring Ana Kraš, multi-disciplined artist Marc Bijl, collage/photomontage artist Tim Roeloffs and cutting-edge designers Boris Bidjan Saberi, Rhiannon Jones (BOL$HIE) and Alis Pelleschi (one-half of MEAT).
