In the 1980s and 1990s zines like I-D emerged from the underground giving face to a sub cultural movement in fashion, art and music that was otherwise left unnoticed. Many magazines’ emerged and exited – and by now due to the Interweb the editorial landscape of magazines has changed completely. Like I-D, Blitz was one of those magazines from back in the days that beautifully depicted the ‘80s scene with a colorfull cast of contributors showcasing the likes of Leigh Bowery, Madonna, Daniel Day Lewis, Pam Hogg, Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Comme Des Garçons.
