In 2010 M.I.A. caused quite some controversy with her video for the song Born Free, which showcased a docudrama style video with military forces rounding up a minority group of ginger kids. In the video a kid got shot in the head and man was blown up by landmine – Youtube eventually banned it from their channel. On a more positive note I recently ran into this Tumblr Las Pelirrojas that is solely dedicated to the beauty of the ginger – ginger girls that is.
