ROYAL FLUSH
Will the rain come wash away all the filth?
The dirt off the streets from 5th ave to Tribeca
and direction to direction
Junkies, junk, street trash, taxis, sex, twats,
freaks, kids, garbage, filth, and rats
I’m tired of it all
I love it all
Yet, here after I can no longer sleep
I can no longer look at this concrete
And it’s summer now there’s this awful
heat
St Marks is dark now and empty after
sun There’s a lot of fun, up and down
Away from the sun
I feel her red plum lips in the night
Where sight is only to feel and I have
this headache so my heart ache is gone
I drink milk after midnight before dawn
It’s still dark with a deep purple in the sky
There’s many pigeons in the morning
And it feels like valentines day when
the morning is cold and I was looking
for some friends of mine I was looking
for someone and I don’t know who or why
I also forgot what a break is..
There’s so much noise it’s
even inside the silence and
my eyes see ringing move
them and then tranquility at
the coffee shop
Apple pie Big apple
Liberty Black coffee
Black streets back streets
Organized pain
Organized crime
Organized love
and all the beauty in eyes
deeper than the swift stare
No one dares
And connections to the world
and strangers are significant
Chaotic sequences the dreams
destined to contradict barriers
to illusions
Surrendered dreams we can not
slender
They were talking bout the whore
of Bowery Then about last winter
Then they said California was ahead
Well fuck man
I realize persistence is a nerve
I believe in every nerve
Sometimes you must clean up and
you wish a flush like flushing a toilet
could do it And even if it’s untrue
It might not be a bad thing to think
this migraine will dissolve
And money seems like toilet paper
But you need to wipe your ass
