Photographer Claudine Dory set out to document the stages of life her own daughter, Sasha, went through. Doury explores the hidden side of this transition, with its changes and upheavals. But instead of a chronological order, she begins by the end – the end of her daughter’s childhood.

This series is proof of the intimate moments between mother and daughter while asking the question whether it’s a way to preserve her daughter’s innocence and purity or rather a refusal to accept what will happen later on in her life.
