Ready, steady, go

Frauke Thielking is a German professional photographer living in Dresden who created the series ‘Ready, steady, go’ to remind us that we shouldn’t remain in old structures and habits but should instead act and decide how we want to shape our lives. According to her, life is in constant change to which we have to adapt and across which we have to move  to avoid the status quo.

“Forced order, cemented thinking, mechanical behaviour leads to stiffness and lifelessness. We must learn to liberate internally in order to avoid stillstand.” – Thielking
