“Fabio Schirru (Cagliari, 1985), who goes by the name of Tellas, was born and raised on the beautiful island of Sardinia. After he obtained a degree in visual arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna he started painting monumental nature inspired murals in various cities around the world. For the exhibition This quiet, harsh land Tellas returned to his roots. Inspired by the rugged and savage landscape of Sardinia he developed a new body of works consisting mostly of drawings on paper and paintings on canvas.” – Mini Galerie

“My work comes from observing my immediate surroundings. I paint on location with oils on linen and at times ink on paper.
My choice of subject matter is always an intuitive one. What I paint is merely a vehicle to create an image.
The objects and spaces have in themselves no intrinsic value; that is decided on the picture plane.” – Jim Harris

Walls Gallery proudly presents ‘Descendenten’, the solo exhibition of Silas Schletterer- Silas art. Don’t miss this stunning new collection of work.
“Animals and humans are the main subjects in Silas’ work. With his eye for subtle details and the boldness of his colour palette, Silas creates a magical and almost hypnotizing atmosphere. His work is often cinematographic, in which nature claims a central role. The quest for perfection and the relation between human and animal are recurring subjects. Besides this, Silas is also working on a series of portraits in which he experiments with this classic theme.” – Walls Gallery
