One of the most anticipated upcoming films in the Netherlands is ‘Borgman’, the latest film by Alex van Warmerdam. And Blend\ is happy to give away two rare ‘Borgman’ sets containing a pair of exclusive Borgman sunglasses and a signed poster by Alex van Warmerdam and lead actress Hadewych Minis. The film appears in Dutch cinemas on the 29th August and later on in the United States and 9 other countries.

The film starts off with Borgman (played by Jan Bijvoet) finding himself as an outsider within the enclosed avenues of a residential neighbourhood. His arrival coincides with a series of distressing events occurring within the carefully crafted façade of an arrogant and well-off couple, their three children and the nanny. Camiel Borgman plays the central character in this dark and ominous narrative. Is he a dream or a demon, a distorted allegory or a hyper-realistic embodiment of our fears?
